Volunteers rock! And museums could not do without them. The Asheville Museum of History (in the c1840 Smith-McDowell house) is a new museum in an old house. Our mission is to tell the stories and history of the mountains in a meaningful and engaging way. We are looking for a wide range of passionate and interested volunteers to bring these stories to life!
